The MEGA series Multi-Stage turbines, installed in Brazil and abroad, produce approximately 1.1 GW of power (cumulative based).
This series has been designed to comply with the API611/612 standards, including lubrication system, quick-action control and shut-off valves actuated by hydraulic actuators, labyrinth-type steam and oil sealing, two-part housings, sliding radial bearings and tilting pad type oscillating pellets.
When the client’s industrial plant required steam for process feed, this series of turbines offers the option of installing a controlled or uncontrolled (bleed) steam extraction block (MEGA-E model), thus allowing to meet the respective demand.
